I have an Intel DGVSR motherboard which I am trying to install xp on, the problem is when I boot it up and try to enter the bios settings I cannot select anything via keyboard it is not working, similarly if I try an boot from rescuse floppy I inntel continue because the keyboard is not active. I have tried the bios rescuse disc from intel and it works untill I have to press any key to continue. Safari Chrome IE Firefox. This can be done to make better use of existing features of the Chip Set and isn’t backward compatible.
I would have thought that the usb keyboard would automatically be recognised when the bios post says usb support enabled? If drivers are required for the USB device, make sure you have the latest driver from the device manufacturer. D845ggsr depends on the version number here of the actual Board in question.
Have to disagree with Colin on this one. The browser version you are using is not recommended for this site. So maybe the only other option really is to remove the bios chip and re-programme it then?
